#3 - Never UPDATE either FREE DEMO or the full Adobe ME programs with English Updaters. By default ADOBE UPDATER will attempt to update software from time to time, and you must decline. It's better to TURN OFF ADOBE UPDATER, and update full Adobe programs manually within the program itself. DO NOT UPDATE DEMO version.

The Adobe ME Group supports Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew with many other languages.
They do not list Dari, Pashto or Urdu because they do not provide technical support these 'other' languages. However, we believe you can use these and almost any language within the Adobe Middle Eastern InDesign CS4-ME.

For example, the USA Social Security Office has defaulted to only using Adobe InDesign CS4-ME Middle Eastern for all their language work, as only these products can support almost every language. It is most important when using THE LANGUAGES OF AFGHANISTAN (Dari, Pashto or Urdu, etc) that you only use UNICODE FONTS; and that you activate their respective keyboard drivers. Then we see no reason why you can't handle these languages.

* Note: Adobe does not recommend having both English and Middle Eastern "CS4" versions installed on same computer. We recommend that you remove English CS4 versions of same products proior to installing "CS4-ME" edition.

The CS4-ME software can do everything English version can do, plus handle Middle Eastern and other languages. You can have earlier versions installed, but not same versions. You cannot install older versions after installing CS4-ME. Programs must be installed in progression, older to newer versions.
