THE ADOBE INCOPY CS4-ME OPTION
Users of the Middle Eastern, North African and Greek version of Adobe InCopy CS4 can now explore more possibilities with enhanced and advanced language features
Arabic and Hebrew language options include spell checking, bi-directional text flow, typographic controls (kashidas, ligature, diacritics...) and advanced importing and exporting options.
Create documents and type text within a localized environment. Work with fully localized menus, dialog boxes and documentation (English, Arabic, Hebrew). Note: On Macintosh, the Middle Eastern version is only available with English menus.
Use Adobe InCopy CS4 to create beautiful typography in Middle Eastern and multilingual documents.
InCopy CS4's layout and design controls allow users to:
• choose styling of numbers (Arabic, Farsi or Hindi)
• use kashidas for letter spacing and full justification
• use ligatures
• position vowels/diacritics
• choose the justification (Standard, Arabic, Naskh)
With Adobe InCopy CS4, users can easily mix Right-to-Left and Left-to-Right text within the same paragraph, character, story and table, with the possibility of combining Middle Eastern (written from right to left) and/or Roman text (written from left to right) according to design needs.
Keep text error free in Adobe InCopy CS4 with an Arabic dictionary and different configurations of rules, such as using either Strict Aleef Hamza, Strict Final Yaa, both or neither.
Depending on system capabilities, users can also check text in Adobe InCopy CS4 with a Hebrew dictionary and hyphenation module.
Easily search for and replace specific occurrences of Middle Eastern text (characters, words, groups of words, or text formatted a certain way) in Adobe InCopy CS4.
When the "ignore accent" option is checked (as in the screenshot below), users can search for a string of text whether or not it contains certain accents (diacritics or vowels...).
