We highly recommend using Arabic-Farsi "OpenType Fonts", as they will preform wonderfully within the Adobe Middle Eastern software. OpenType offers added advantages, especially when preparing Arabic and Farsi text.

For example, within Adobe InDesign CS5-ME, select the Arabic text, then set to a quality Arabic OpenType font. Then select TYPE menu and select DIACRITIC POSITIONING, and set to OPENTYPE.
