What is the Emiri Font?
The Emiri Font is a meticulous reconstruction of the landmark typeface of the Emeeriyyah printing house in Cairo. With this typeface it is possible to create Unicode-based searchable Koran text with the familiar appearance of today’s printed editions.

Tasmeem’s shaping and spacing controls makes Emiri particularly effective for literary and creative productions.

What is the Naskh Font?
The Naskh font is plain and simple. It is based on an exhaustive analysis of Ottoman manuscript practice. This typeface faithfully captures the historical Naskh as it evolved from practical calligraphy into the best legible Arabic typography ever designed.

surrounded by a 10 pt. broad, elegantly curved outline stroke.
