Tasmeem KORAN MANUSCRIPT
Illustrated below are two Tasmeem specimens, one of them based on the
contemporary typeset editions, and the other on a famous 16th century
Koran manuscript by the calligrapher Hafiz Osman
(the original is shown in the background)

Tasmeem example above (left):
Page set in 12/28 pts Emiri with spaces to separate words, in the style and
orthography of the printed Koran editions. Each verse is followed by a marker with a number.
